HYROX Tickets: How to Get One
Getting a HYROX ticket is easy until your race sells out, and the popular ones do. Here's how tickets are sold, what "sold out" really means, and how people still get a spot after it happens.
Where are HYROX tickets sold?
Only through HYROX itself. Each race has its own page on the regional HYROX site, and that's where athlete and spectator tickets are sold. RoxDrop doesn't sell tickets and never buys them for you. We tell you when one is available, and you buy it on the official page.
How do HYROX ticket sales work?
- You buy a division, not just a race. Open, Pro, Doubles and Relay are sold separately, often per day of a multi-day race. Each division can sell out on its own.
- Sales open once, but not always for everyone at once. Some races open in stages. The date that counts is the one HYROX announces. Anything you read before that is a guess.
- Popular divisions go fast. In big cities, Open and Doubles can sell out soon after sales open, while Pro, Relay or a second race day stay available much longer.
What "sold out" actually means
A sold-out division is not gone for good. Athletes get injured, change plans or switch divisions, and the organiser sometimes adds capacity. When that happens, spots come back. Some go to the official waiting list. Others go straight back on general sale, where whoever looks first gets them.
Those returns don't come with a schedule or an announcement, and they rarely stay available for long. That's why checking the page now and then usually misses them.
How to get a HYROX ticket for a sold-out race
- Join the official waiting list on the race's HYROX page. It's free and it's the only route with priority access.
- Set a restock alert for the race and every division you'd accept. We monitor availability and message you when a division reopens.
- Be ready to buy. Stay logged in to your HYROX account with your details saved, so a returned spot takes seconds, not minutes.
- Stay flexible. Another division, another day or a nearby city is often still open when your first choice isn't.
Should I buy a HYROX ticket from someone else?
Be careful. Entries are personal, and a ticket bought privately is only valid if it goes through the official name-change or transfer process, where the race offers one. Sold-out races attract scams in social media groups, so never pay a stranger for a ticket that can't be transferred to your name officially.
Spectator tickets
Spectators need their own ticket at most races, sold on the same official page.
Find your race
Every race we track has its own page showing which divisions are available and when it was last checked, with an alert you can set in one tap.
HYROX tickets — frequently asked
- Where can I buy HYROX tickets?
- Only on the official HYROX site for the race's region. Each race has its own page selling athlete and spectator tickets. Anywhere else is resale.
- When do HYROX tickets go on sale?
- Each race opens on its own date, which HYROX announces. Until it does, any date you see is a guess. A RoxDrop alert for the race tells you when it opens.
- Can I still get a ticket if a HYROX race is sold out?
- Often, yes. Spots come back when athletes cancel or transfer, or when capacity is added. Join the official waiting list and set a restock alert so you hear about spots that go straight back on sale.
- Why is one HYROX division sold out but another isn't?
- Each division, and often each day, has its own allocation. Open and Doubles usually go first, while Pro, Relay or another day can stay open much longer.
- Is it safe to buy a HYROX ticket from another athlete?
- Only through the race's official name-change or transfer process, where one is offered. Entries are personal, and privately sold tickets can be refused at check-in.
- Does RoxDrop sell HYROX tickets?
- No. RoxDrop is an independent alert service, not affiliated with HYROX. We tell you when tickets are available, and you buy them on the official page.
