HYROX Sold Out? How to Still Get a Ticket

You opened the race page and your division says sold out. That's frustrating, but it's rarely the end. Spots come back after a race sells out, often more than once. Here's what to do, in order.

Is a sold-out HYROX race really sold out?

Not for good. Between the sell-out and race day, athletes get injured, change plans, switch divisions or move to another race. Each of those can put a spot back. Capacity is sometimes added too. "Sold out" means sold out right now, not for the rest of the season.

Where returned spots go

To the official waiting list. Some returns are offered to people on the race's waiting list first.
Straight back on general sale. Others simply reappear on the race page, with no email and no announcement. Whoever looks first gets them, and they rarely last long.

That second route is why refreshing the page now and then usually misses them, and why people who say "I got one from a restock" were watching closely.

What to do when your HYROX race sells out

Check the other divisions and days. Each division, and often each day, sells out separately. Doubles, Relay, Pro or another race day may still be open.

Through HYROX, or through the official name-change or transfer process where the race offers one. Entries are personal. A ticket bought privately that isn't moved to your name officially can be refused at check-in.

Sold-out races attract scams in resale groups. Be wary of anyone who wants payment before the transfer is done, won't use the official process, or offers a ticket for a division that's still on sale.
